The Disposition Of Mother

My Mom would appreciate this. She had a great sense of humor.

*********************************************************************************************

My Mother rests inside a chest
I must fulfill her last request
To the shore where her I’ll pour
Sound of wind and ocean roar
The car was packed on top I stacked
The urn it fell the glass was cracked
Ashes on the driveway, grass
Grabbed a broom and dustpan fast
Looked around no one had seen
As off the ground her I did clean
Her back now stuck in a crack
Quickly her I had to pack
Put her in a cardboard box
Now it’s Mother and some rocks
Slipped it in a garbage can
I know Mom you’d understand

I am an eccentric blogger and artist. I used to live off-grid, which makes for some great stories. :)
